May 2026
Hello MountainAdoras!
Hope you have all been having a nice spring so far! Here is what we have on the calendar for the rest of May and a few save the dates for upcoming events!
RIDES:
BBB (Bikes, Burritos & Beers) will continue to roll on Monday nights at 5:30 at Elings Park. Meet @ Moser meadow (the top near the jumps). Join us for a few MTB laps and then burritos & beers @ Super Cucas on the West Side to follow.
Little Tunnel Sessions are BACK! Join Rachel every other Wednesday evening (next ride 5/20) for a lap or two on Little Tunnel. Meet at 5:30 PM at the gate at the top of Tunnel Road (where you would begin your hike/ride to Inspiration Point). This is a small, technical piece of trail with some steep sections, rock rolls, and rock gardens. We will tackle the features one by one at the pace of the group and plan for 1-2 laps depending on time. If you’ve been feeling comfortable on easier stuff (Elings, West Fork) and are wanting to level up your riding – this is the ride for you! Full suspension MTB, pads, and flat pedals are recommended to allow for easier on/off the bike while sessioning features. Reach out to Rachel for any questions!
Senduro – this month’s senduro group ride will take place on Saturday May 16th. Lizzo will be updating the Strava with additional details as the date gets closer.
Women Led Road Rides – join us for a road ride on 5/21 for a women led road ride. Meet at the Mission at 5:45 PM, plan for wheels out at 6PM.
MERCH:
2026 MountainAdoras Jersey is live on our website for pre-order through the end of May. The design will be printed on the Jackroo long sleeve MTB jersey, just like our prior edition jerseys. The design includes multiple topo maps of local MTB trails, designed by Miles Shapleigh.
We have a handful of extra Poppies and Poison Oak tees also available for sale in limited sizes if you’d like to snag one!
CLINICS:
Women’s Cornering Clinic with Danilu – Danilu will be returning to guide us through a MTB skills clinic June 13th from 10AM-1PM with an emphasis on cornering. Registration is open on https://bicycledeliverance.com/collections/all . Spaces are limited – sign up now!
INTERNATIONAL MTB DAY:
Save the date! We’re working hard to bring a community movie night highlighting MTB films – more info to come in the next few weeks, but for now save the date! - July 20th !
As always, stay up to date on happenings via our Strava group or WhatsAp channel.
Our next monthly meeting will be June 1st, we will be postponing it a week due to Memorial Day the weekend prior. Hope to see you there!
Happy Shredding,
Rachel
