June 2025
Hello MountainAdoras!
Here is what we have on deck for you this Month:
RIDES:
BBB – Bike, Burritos, and Beers will continue on Mondays at 5:30 from Moser Meadow at Elings (the top near the jumps) – the crew has been having a blast shaking off the Mondays with some MTB laps and the sunset views @ Elings.. what more could you ask for?!
Women-led road rides will roll from Handlebar Coffee on De la Vena on Saturdays at 8:30 AM, look out for Daniella who will be leading the charge!
Little Tunnel Sessions - join us for a lap or two down Little Tunnel on Wednesday 6/11 and 6/25 starting at 5:30 from the gait at the top of Tunnel Road. This is an intermediate/advanced trail with short sections of technical/rocky terrain. Pads and a full suspension bike recommended. If you’re looking to level up your riding, this ride is for you! We can/will session any sections that the group would like!
CLINICS:
MountainAdoras Suspension Setting Clinic - with Lonewolf Suspension – Wednesday June 18th at 6PM. Bring your bike and your shock pump and we’ll learn how to measure your fork/shock pressures, set them appropriately, and how to manage other adjustments within your suspension! Tech Clinics are FREE for members, we’ll ask a 5-15$ sliding scale donation to support the club for non-members. Women, femmes and folks who identify with our mission welcome!
Other Community Clinics:
Biking & Injury Prevention Presentation – with Lizzo Alexander, PT, DPT (MountainAdora and the fearless leader of BBB) – Thursday June 12th 6:30-7:30 PM at Velopro SB. Learn about common cycling injuries and prevention strategies. All are welcome!
Fundamental and Flow – Saturday June 28th 10AM – 3PM, Rancho Potrero Trail in Thousand Oaks, CA - Join Arielle Miller, BICP level I coach, for a women’s MTB clinic. It will include a 2 hour skills session, followed by a group ride to apply what you learned. Coffee, lunch, and a swag bag included.
Skills clinic update - Unfortunately we were unable to secure an ideal location locally for a summer skills clinic so we’re now looking to fall/early winter to host 2 skills clinics. We have some awesome, willing coaches on deck. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have dates and sign-ups are available!
As always, check out our website for our calendar of events and keep an eye out on Instagram, Strava and our Discord channel for updates! Our next monthly meeting is Monday June 30th at 7PM at Topa Topa in the Funk Zone!
Happy Shredding!
